Lovable is a frontend-and-app builder. It does not decode the audio in an MP4 on its own. To translate a video "with Lovable," you connect it to a tool that handles the media pipeline. VMEG is that tool. Once connected through a custom MCP connector, Lovable can:
- Receive a video file or YouTube link inside your project chat
- Call the VMEG MCP tools (`vmeg_create_video_translation_task`, etc.)
- Wait for the translated, dubbed, and lip-synced output
- Embed or hand off the finished file from inside the app you're building
This is useful for indie hackers, growth teams, and content creators who use Lovable to ship marketing sites, course platforms, and content apps — and want to ship them multilingual from day one.
