Submit Task for Subtitle Translation
Upload Your Video
Go to
Video Subtitle Translator and upload a video from your device, or choose one from your library if it’s already uploaded. After uploading, set your subtitle preferences.
Set Language Preferences
Choose the original language, or let the tool auto-detect it. If your audio contains more than one language, enable Multi Languages to help the system identify each one accurately. Select the target language for your translated subtitles.
Add Subtitles
Click Add Subtitles, choose a subtitle template, and then click Select to apply it to your video.
You can adjust the subtitle size, style, and position in real time using the preview window.
Edit Subtitle Script
Edit the translated script directly, or
Edit the original script and click "Retranslate this sentence" to update the translation.
Adjust Subtitle Timeline
Select subtitle segments on the timeline to edit or sync their timing with the video.
• Lengthen subtitle blocks to increase display time or shorten them to reduce how long subtitles appear.
• Adjust the start time of each subtitle to better align with the visuals.
• Remove unwanted subtitle segments using the delete icon.
• Add new subtitle segments with the Add button and preview changes in real time.
Change Subtitle presentation
Click "Add Subtitles" to change the subtitle template if desired. Use the plus (+) and minus (–) icons to adjust subtitle size. Click on subtitles in the preview to move and reposition them instantly.
Export & Download
Once everything is ready, you can download the video with subtitles, along with both the translated and original subtitle files.

Credits usage by Subtitle translation
VMEG uses a credit-based pricing model for subtitle translation, charged by the minute.
If your video is shorter than one minute, it will still be billed as one full minute.
The standard rate is 10 credits per minute for subtitle translation.
For example, a 1-minute video costs 10 credits. A 3-minute video costs 30 credits (3 minutes × 10 credits per minute).
